Autism

Autism spectrum disorder (ASD), is complex neurodevelopmental condition that affects social interaction, communication, behavior, and sensory processing. It is typically diagnosed in early childhood, although some individuals may receive diagnosis later in life.

Learning Disorders

Learning disorders are neurodevelopmental conditions that affect a person's ability to acquire, process, retain, or express information, resulting in difficulties with academic achievement or daily functioning. These difficulties are not primarily due to intellectual disabilities, sensory impairments, or inadequate educational opportunities.

Cerebral Palsy

Cerebral palsy (CP) is a group of disorders that affect movement, muscle tone, and motor skills. It is caused by damage to the developing brain, usually before birth. The severity of CP can vary widely, from mild cases where a person may have minor difficulties with movement, to severe cases where a person may be unable to walk.

Global Development Delay

Global developmental delay (GDD) refers to a condition in which children experience significant delays in multiple areas of development compared to their peers. These delays may affect cognitive, motor, speech and language, social, and/or emotional skills. GDD is typically diagnosed when a child is younger than five years old and is failing to meet developmental milestones across several areas.

ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperative Disorder)

ADHD is a neurodevelopmental disorder characterized by persistent patterns of inattention, hyperactivity, and impulsivity that significantly interfere with daily functioning and development.

Delayed Development Milestone

A developmental delay is when your child is slow to reach one or more developmental milestones compared to their peers. Developmental milestones include skills. Children reach milestones in playing, learning, speaking, behaving and moving. They develop and reach these milestones at different rates.

Down Syndrome

Down syndrome varies in severity among individuals, causing lifelong intellectual disability and developmental delays. It's the most common genetic chromosomal disorder and cause of learning disabilities in children. It also commonly causes other medical abnormalities, including heart and gastrointestinal disorders.

Behavior Disorders

All young children can be naughty, defiant and impulsive from time to time, which is perfectly normal. However, some children have extremely difficult and challenging behaviours that are outside the norm for their age. The most common disruptive behaviour disorders include oppositional defiant disorder (ODD), conduct disorder (CD) and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD).
